Double materiality assessment
To gain a better understanding of the sustainability-related impact areas, risks, and opportunities that are material to our operations and value chain, we have conducted a double materiality analysis.
The materiality analysis was carried out in several steps during the fall of 2023, with the participation of various specialist roles and experts.
In the first step, we mapped our value chain and business operations to identify which parts of the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) we are subject to.
In the next phase, risks and opportunities were identified to assess which activities may have a significant impact on people and the environment, as well as which risks and opportunities could have financial implications.
Finally, materiality was assessed, i.e., which impact areas, risks, and opportunities we have the greatest influence on, and which of these have the greatest financial impact.
