Policies and certificates

Nordic Paper shall govern and develop its operations in a responsible and sustainable manner throughout the entire value chain. 

To ensure this, we have a policy portfolio adopted by the Board, including the company’s code of conduct. The Code of Conduct provides the framework that translates values into action and describes how employees should act and conduct business ethically and sustainably based on our values. We also require that suppliers of goods and services operate responsibly, in accordance with our Supplier Code of Conduct.

Certifications

With the aim of maintaining high and consistent quality within all units, the Company is certified to ISO 9001 with a multisite certification covering all sites. The ISO 22000 Food Safety Management certification at the plants in Säffle and Greåker guarantee product safety throughout the process – from paper production and transport to end use.

It is important to us to use certified fibre. Nordic Paper can offer both FSC® (FSC-C102767) and PEFC (PEFC/05-33-213) certified paper.

Nordic Paper also holds sustainability decisions under the Swedish regulation on sustainability criteria for biofuels, bioliquids and biomass fuels, which means we have an approved control system for handing these fuels as well as evidence that they are sustainable. Our sustainability decision covers all liquid biofuels as well as spent liquor and biomass fuels.
