Chocolate Balls
Makes about 30 (depending on the size)
100 g butter
85 g sugar
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
3 tbsp cocoa
120 g porridge oats
3 tbsp cold, strong coffee
pearl sugar or other topping
Melt the butter and let it simmer for a short while.
Mix the sugar, cocoa, oats, coffee and butter together.
Place in the fridge for about 1 hour until the mixture has hardened slightly.
Roll the mixture into balls.
Tip the sugar or desiccated coconut onto a sheet of baking paper and roll the balls until covered.
Put the balls into small paper cases and place in the fridge or somewhere cool.
